Mads Mikkelsen meets Sarajevo Mayor

The red carpet of the 28th Sarajevo Film Festival in front of the National Theater at 6:15 p.m. Just before the ceremony, Mads Mikkelsen was the guest of the mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karic.

Mikkelsen arrived in Sarajevo a little earlier, and the meeting with the mayor followed.

After the meeting, Karic posted a short message on social networks.

“We are proud that Sarajevo hosts the biggest movie stars and that many of them will carry our city in their hearts in addition to the recognition that bears the symbolic name.”

By the way, tonight at 20:30 at the Coca-Cola Summer Cinema, the movie “THE HUNTING” by Thomas Vintenberg, in which Mikkelsen plays the main role, will be shown, and before the screening he will be presented with the Honorable Heart of Sarajevo award.

Mikkelsen is the winner of the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo at the 26th Sarajevo Film Festival (2020), which, due to the circumstances caused by the corona virus pandemic, he could not attend.

The honorary Heart of Sarajevo will be presented to him tonight at the Coca-Cola Summer Cinema before the screening of the movie LOV, for his outstanding contribution to the art of cinema.
