Maglaj is Cutt Off, Water Level of River Bosna Very High

maglajMaglaj is cut off due to flooding, no electricity and the phone communication is extremely difficult.

Boiling of water for drinking is recommended in Maglaj and Zavidovići, confirmed for Agency Fena, the Assistant Director for Technical Affairs in the Agency for Sava Water territory Enes Alagić. 

Alagić said that the water level of Bosna river in Maglaj is unseen before. Also, the situation is difficult in Zenica, more difficult than in 1968, when floods occurred as well.

He added that water levels of Jala and Spreča rivel are very high as well. In some lower parts there is snow up to 60 -70 cm, whose melt can cause additional problems.
