The use of the winter equipment for cars in BiH cease to be valid after 15th April, which was in force from 15th November.
Winter tires on all four wheels were obligatory for all passenger cars and other motor vehicles that have no more than eight seats and whose maximum mass does not exceed three and a half tons.
Tires with summer profile if the tread depth is minimum four millimeters could be used, but drivers should have had proper chains for mounting to wheels in the kit.
The penalty for not using the winter equipment is 40 BAM, and for causing traffic accident due to inadequate equipment penalties are from 50 to 200 BAM.
