”The recent visit of the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Štefan Füle to Bosnia and Herzegovina was planned in June, after the concept of conversations was introduced on a higher political level”- said the Minister for Economic Relations and Regional Collaboration of Republika Srpska, Željka Cvijanović.
Željka Cvijanović said that this was the second round of these types of conversations, adding that the primary topic were the matters of MAP or the obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the path towards the European Union. Cvijanović also pointed out the implementation of the decision of the Sejdić-Finci case has become a crucial political issue instead of it being a question of equality of all people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She also emphasized that this decision opened the discussion about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Because of this, a lot of complications have risen. Cvijanović further explains:
” Bosnia and Herzegovina does not have a lot of friends in the world. Štefan Füle is a man that knows Bosnia and Herzegovina very well and who understands how to help this country solve the problem of coordination. He also made it very clear that everything that is written in the MAP is a primary obligation for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
