Mayor Komšić met with the new Malaysian Ambassador

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMayor of Sarajevo Ivo Komšić received the new ambassador of Malaysia to BiH Anuar Kasman.

Ambassador said: ‘We open for every form of cooperation between Sarajevo and Kuala Lumpur and other cities of Malaysia. In our country we have program of city bonding called ‘Two cities under one roof’ with the aim of giving technical support and giving better presentation of projects from the field of economy, tourism, culture, etc’, noted the ambassador Kasman.

Kasman talked with Komšić about experiences of his country concerning the issue of attracting foreign investments, from securing the land for industrial zones, tax relief, forming agency to help foreign investors, etc.

They also discussed possibility of Malaysia investing in BiH, especially in Sarajevo, and on that occasion Komšić said that city administration will present several projects from the field of tourism, agriculture, metal and wood industry and energy industry.

Ambassador of Malaysia invited Komšić to visit Kuala Lumpur in order to make concrete steps in creating better cooperation of two cities.
