Mayor of Sarajevo Spoke with Ambassador of Sri Lanka

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe Ambassador of Sri Lanka to BiH Allyar Lebbe Abdul Azees, with a seat in Vienna, visited the Mayor of Sarajevo yesterday Ivo Komšić.

The reception was organized at the suggestion of the Ambassadors in order to speak about the opportunities for future cooperation between Sarajevo and the cities of this friendly nation.

Given the interest of the Ambassador of Sri Lanka during the meeting, Mayor Komšić spoke to him about the administrative-legal status of Sarajevo, how the city functions, its territorial organizations, and responsibilities and funding sources.

They Mayor welcomed the initiative of the Ambassador for Sarajevo and cities in Sri Lanka to be connected with an Agreement on cooperation, with the goal of starting joint projects in infrastructure, and which is related to the disposal of waste and water management, announced the City of Sarajevo.
