A working meeting was held in the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH between the acting Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić, Head of the War Crimes Department Ozrenka Nesković, Head of the Department Sanja Jukić and the colleagues from the Office of the War Crimes Prosecutor of Serbia, Chief Prosecutor Snežana Stanojković and Prosecutors Mioljub Vitorović and Vasilije Seratlić.

Central topics of the meeting were cooperation and exchange of evidence in war crimes cases, as well as the transfer of criminal prosecution cases in which the accused are inaccessible to the judiciary because they are located in the territory of a neighboring state.

It was emphasized at the meeting that the fight against impunity for war crimes is a common imperative and goal of future cooperation, with the support of IRMCT Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz, in order to ensure the prosecution of suspects and accused persons, regardless of the country they are located in.

′′At the meeting, the officials of the two prosecutor’s offices presented and agreed specific activities that need to be worked on in the coming period.
