Bilateral consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland were held.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH mr. sc. Josip Brkicled the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH in bilateral consultations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, which were held on June 1st, 2022 in Sarajevo. The delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland was led by the Secretary of State for European Affairs Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk.
During the consultations, they discussed bilateral relations between BiH and the Republic of Poland, the current situation and integration of BiH into the European Union (EU) and NATO, and regional cooperation. It was pointed out that bilateral relations between the two countries are good and friendly, which is the basis for strengthening further cooperation, especially in the field of economy.
State Secretary Szynkowski vel Sęk emphasized his country’s full support for BiH’s path to the EU and NATO and expressed Poland’s readiness for further assistance and exchange of experiences. He stressed that Poland is particularly interested in improving economic cooperation with BiH, in the fields of energy and tourism.
