Meeting of Parliamentarians of B&H and Austria

meeting2Members of the friendship group of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H (PA B&H) for the neighboring countries, led by Chairman of the group Nenad Lalic, held a meeting with members of the friendship group of the Federal Council of Austria for relations with B&H yesterday in Sarajevo.

During the meeting, which, besides the Chairman Lalic, was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the friendship group Ljilja Zovko and members Salko Sokolovic and Sredoje Novic, it was emphasized that cooperation between B&H and Austria in the economic field is recording steady increase, especially in the field of exchange of goods and services.

Chairman Lalic emphasized interests of B&H for Austrian investments for construction of capacities for the production of healthy food as well as investments in the development of the metal industry.

The attendees agreed that closer cooperation between the parliaments of these two countries should be established in order to create legal preconditions for resolving of issues and further development of mutual relations through functioning of system institutions.

Special emphasis was on addressing the issue of administrative barriers that foreign investors are facing with in B&H, through the construction of the legal system and further strengthening of the legal state in which every citizen of B&H will feel safe, regardless of their religion, ethnicity or skin color.
