Member of the BiH Presidency and candidate of the coalition “Željko Komšić for a civil state”, today discussed the policies of the coalition with the citizens of Doboj-jug, Žepče and Zavidović.

Komšić said that he launched the initiative One million people for a civil state, and assessed that citizens throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina accept the initiative and its political goals with particular approval, because it is about the goals of all those who fought and are fighting for the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Speaking about the outcome of the political events concerning changes to the electoral law of BiH, Komšić pointed out that the High Representative Christian Schmidt really intended to impose changes to the electoral law, on the ethnic principle and in favor of the HDZ, but the citizens opposed it at protests in front of the OHR .

A member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina also expressed concern over the fact that other pro-Bosnian parties, during the election campaign, generally forget to present their political ideas to the citizens, and that they offer mutual accusations, which is not good at a time when the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina is being threatened.

Answering citizens’ questions regarding the messages of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, about sending the Croatian army to Bosnia and Herzegovina through the EUFOR mission, Komšić said that Milanović would never wait for that, and that the door of Bosnia and Herzegovina was closed question closed.

Komšić said that the time has passed when the Croatian army was present in BiH, pointing out on the time of war in BiH.

As a reminder, the Office of the Croatian President issued a statement stating that a new era has come in Croatian politics.

“We will always fight for the protection of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We will insist that Croatia sends its soldiers as part of Operation Altea to Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the auspices of NATO or the EU. We will decide on that, not Sarajevo, not Belgrade. There is a new time in Croatian politics,” Milanović said, Klix.ba writes.
