Bećirović is a great supporter of NATO integration of BiH since he has previously emphasized that it is an alliance that can provide security to BiH in challenging times, stressing that it is necessary to work on the implementation of the BiH Reform Program with the aim of admitting Bosnia and Herzegovina to full membership.
He confirmed on several occasions his firm commitment to intensifying the NATO integration process, in accordance with the Constitution and the Law on Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Geopolitical events, including the consequences of Russian aggression against Ukraine, have a direct impact on the security and political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is why the continuation of the consistent process of Euro-Atlantic integration is of great importance,” Bećirović pointed out earlier.
