Members of BiH Presidency met with Delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan

Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina met with a delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan, led by President Rustam Minnikhanov. The politicians welcomed the good and stable political relations and cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the Russian Federation. 
 
The intention was expressed that bilateral cooperation would continue to develop for mutual benefit, especially in the economic field.
 
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, General Director of the holding “Helicopters of Russia” Andrey Boginskiy and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to BiH Igor Kalabukhov also attended the meeting.
 
Members of the BiH Presidency expressed support for holding high-level meetings and visits which will intensify trade and economic co-operation between the two countries.
 
Special attention is paid to industrial cooperation. On this occasion, the interlocutors supported the conclusion of agreements on technological cooperation and cooperation in the field of air transport, in order to facilitate investments and launch development projects.
 
The officials also provided support to university cooperation, as a form of strengthening bilateral cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Tatarstan.
 
Speaking about the foreign policy of BiH, the members of the Presidency of BiH reiterated their complete and unique commitment to EU membership and interest in developing friendly relations with countries outside the EU.
