Members of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Canton Sarajevo sent an Important Message to Citizens

As part of the implementation of the project “Work of police in the community”, with the aim of preventing crimes and violations committed to tourists, the police officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs, particularly in charge of the realization of the cooperation project with the local community, initiated certain preventive activities.

In cooperation with the municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, a number of posters and promotional leaflets of informative content have been printed concerning the protection of the money and the precautionary measures that should be taken to protect, as well as phone numbers that tourists can case need to contact police officers in Sarajevo Canton.

Police officers will distribute brochures and promotional materials to citizens, branches of tourist agencies and the tourist community in the forthcoming period, and posters will be highlighted in visible locations, especially in the areas of the city where the highest frequency of domestic and foreign tourists.

This is another way in which the competent authority of the Police Department attempts to prevent the creation of a more favorable security environment for the stay of tourists, but also for all citizens of Sarajevo Canton.
