Last night, members of the Mountain Rescue Service found a citizen of the Republic of Austria, M.Z. (70), who disappeared on Wednesday morning on the Apparition Hill near Medjugorje.

Immediately after the report, the Herzegovinian Mountain Rescue Service Citluk launched a search and rescue operation. Rescuers from HGSS Capljina and GSS Ljubuski joined them, and rescuers from HGSS Mostar and GSS Grude also headed towards Medjugorje.

At 6:40 p.m., the missing person was found alive, with no visible injuries, and hypothermia. Fourty rescuers, two search teams with dogs and two drones took part in the action, GSSuBiH stated.
