The legislative power at the state level of Bosnia and Herzegovina officially “entered” the six month since the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH did not hold any session.
During this period, state parliamentarians were, individually, out of the pockets of BiH citizens, paid by 30,000 BAM.
It is exactly half of the year how the members of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina did not hold any session.
Namely, this political body was constituted on December 6th 2018, and from that date the state parliamentarians have still not been able to adopt any law or any other act under the authority of the state legislature.
For all six months, deputies received enormously high salaries from impoverished pockets of Bosniaks, Croats, Serbs and others, whose interests allegedly represent the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.
On the other hand, official data on the labor market situation show all the disparities in the lives of “ordinary” people and the parliamentarians they choose.
Only in the Federation of BiH, according to the FBiH Tax Administration data, in December 2018, up to 450 BAM was received by 118,224 workers, while the salary of over 1,500 BAM was received only by 62,310 employees. Of the 118,224 workers who received 450 BAM for their work, a total of 33,105 received a salary of BAM 389.
The BiH Parliamentary Assembly is half-year in full blockade because of the SNSD’s decision to bargain for the work of legislative power until the processes in the BiH Presidency related to the appointment of Zoran Tegeltija as chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers. These blockades also reflected the fact that the PSBiH still did not form its permanent working bodies, Klix.ba news portal reports.
