BH Presidency BelgradeMembers of the B&H Presidency walked through the central city street in Belgrade, Knez Mihajlova, together with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic and thus finished the visit to the capital of Serbia.

Security measures on Belgrade streets were at the highest level, and the walk was followed by several journalists.

After a lunch with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, members of the B&H Presidency started a walk through Belgrade by visiting the building of the Geo Institute and sightseeing the model of Belgrade on water, accompanied by Vucic and the Mayor Sinisa Mali.

Dragan Covic, Bakir Izetbegovic and Mladen Ivanic stopped in Knez Mihajlova street in order to refresh and Vucic order a song “Srajevo ljubavi moja“ for Izetbegovic.

During today’s visit of the BH delegation to Serbia, no incident was recorded, and leaders of both countries said that the past should be left to historians, and that their task is to work on ensuring a better and more prosperous future of citizens of B&H and Serbia.

Bosniak member of the B&H Presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic asked the meeting to be held in Belgrade in order to see reactions of the citizens of Belgrade.

“I asked intentionally for meeting not to be held in Karadjordjevo, without people, but exactly in Belgrade, to walk through Knez Mihajlova street, face people and see reactions of the citizens“, said Izetbegovic.

In a context of political relations of B&H and Serbia, this is one of the most significant visits given that this is the first offical visit of BH politicians after an attack to Aleksandar Vucic in Potocari, where delegations managed to calm down the tense inter-state relations.

Vucic said that good relations of Serbia and B&H, which are a key of the stability of the Southeastern Europe, will not be threatened.
