Members of the Collegium of the House of Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Covic and Nikola Spiric, and members of the Collegium of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Kristo and Denis Zvizdic met on Thursday with Head of the European Union Delegation to BiH Johann Sattler.

Sattler expressed satisfaction with the constructive role that Bosnian Parliamentary Assembly has in the process of approaching the European Union and stressed that it is very important to remain focused on working on key priorities that the country needs to meet in order to progress in the EU accession process.

The interlocutors also discussed priorities that are supposed to be achievable in a relatively short period of time and which could be worked on until the upcoming local elections.

The members of the Collegium of both Houses pointed out that serious progress has already been made in the work on a significant number of priorities.

During the meeting, they emphasized that they would make an additional effort in order for the BiH Parliamentary Assembly to give its full contribution to the realization of tasks that mean additional progress in achieving candidate status, and that they will strive to achieve a constructive role even when with the obligations that the Council of Ministers, other bodies of BiH, as well as lower levels of government are facing.
