The Board of Directors of Humanitarian Organization (HO) ‘’Merhamet’’ Muslim charity has decided to start an action to collect assistance for the population of the Republic of Albania who was affected by a catastrophic earthquake.
The action will run until February 29th, 2020.
‘’Merhamet’’ will implement the action of collecting assistance for the victims of Albania in cooperation with the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
‘’In the coming days, ‘Merhamet’ will send an emergency humanitarian aid convoy to Albanian people whose homes have been hit by a catastrophic earthquake. The Islamic Community in BiH will also provide support. Our aim is to gather as much assistance as possible to reach as many citizens as possible in the critical areas in Albania,’’ said HO ‘’Merhamet’’ Muslim charity President Kenan Vrbanjac.
Vrbanjac called on all citizens, businesses and other entities to join this action, and thus, as always, show their solidarity and readiness for the humane action.
‘’Citizens, businesses and institutions can deliver their assistance with food and other items to all Merhamet’s head and regional offices, ‘’ the HO said.
