Mesud Pezer, the member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team in shot put, won first place at the 28th Balkan indoor championship in athletics for senior women and men, which is being held in Istanbul.
Pezer won with a shot of 20.75 meters, while second-placed Greek Odyseseas Mouzenidis threw the ball to a distance of 19.25 meters.
Georgian Giorgi Mujaridze was third with 19.19 meters, Fena news agency writes.
