Michele Castoro, President of the Management Board of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), has been appointed as the new president of the Association of Italian Businessmen in BiH.

This Association is dedicated to strengthening economic ties, creating new investment opportunities, and encouraging closer cooperation between the business communities of the two countries. Since Italy remains one of BiH‘s key economic partners, this appointment further strengthens the shared vision of growth, innovation, and long-term prosperity.

“I am honored to have taken on this role and grateful for the trust that has been placed in me. Economic relations between Italy and BiH have significant potential, and I firmly believe that stronger cooperation between our business communities will lead to new opportunities, innovations, and sustainable growth. I will dedicate myself to strengthening ties between Italian and BiH companies, facilitating investments, and promoting an open and dynamic business environment. I look forward to cooperating with companies, institutions, and stakeholders from both countries to support entrepreneurship, trade, and long-term growth. This is an excellent opportunity to create meaningful connections, encourage economic development, and unlock new synergies,” said Castoro.

As one of the leading financial institutions, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank remains committed to supporting business and strengthening international cooperation, actively contributing to the economic environment, thereby benefiting both domestic and Italian companies.

By using the expertise of the business community and the support of financial institutions, the Association of Italian Businessmen in BiH is well-positioned to achieve notable results and cooperate with all stakeholders in building a more prosperous and innovative business ecosystem.
