The Service for Foreigners’ Affairs continued conducting certain activities related to transport and accommodation of migrants from the area of Bihac and Velika Kladusa with the assistance of members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Una – Sana Canton and in coordination with the international organizations of IOM and UNHCR.

The aforementioned activities refer to transport of more than 100 migrants, families with children, who were staying in temporary camps in the area of Bihac and Velika Kladusa, and their accommodation in the hotel “Sedra” near Cazin.

A total of 14 families from Velika Kladusa and 10 families from Bihac will be accommodated there, and they will receive adequate accommodation, health care, and all the other conditions necessary for human stay until their status in BiH is resolved after they submit request for asylum.

The Service for Foreigners’ Affairs worked with more than 9,200 migrants from the beginning of the year until today.

The Service for Foreigners’ Affairs performs registration of migrants, takes their biometric data and identifies vulnerable categories, after which they pay special attention to the protection of their human rights.
