Milorad Dodik to the arrested Women: “There is no Place for such People in Banja Luka”

Milorad Dodik, in a reaction on social media X, commented on the women who unfurled the flag of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (RBiH) in Banja Luka on Monday.

The flag in question belongs to a country that was internationally recognized from 1992 to 1998, but the President of Republika Srpska (RS) referred to it as a “war flag.” He told the women that there is no place in Banja Luka for such people.

He stated that “Banja Luka has been and will remain a city that welcomes and receives anyone of goodwill,” but also added that “those who want to provoke the Serbian people with war flags are not welcome.”

“The gathering of a group of women in ‘Petar Kocic‘ Park and the display of the BiH war flag is an unnecessary provocation and a clear message from Bosniaks to other peoples in BiH that they are still beating the drums of war,” Dodik wrote on X.

The group of women, who gathered in Banja Luka to mark Statehood Day, was reported to the police by citizens and detained for disturbing public order and peace.
