The Government of the Republika Srpska will make decisions at its first upcoming session on the return of part of the excise duty on fuel, up to 10 percent for the economy, and 20 percent for citizens, announced the Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska, Savo Minić.

At a press conference in Banja Luka, Minić emphasized that there will be direct assistance, which nominally totals about five million BAM on a monthly basis.

He assessed the return of part of the excise duty on oil and oil derivatives as a significant assistance from the Government to the citizens of the Republika Srpska.

Minić added that he does not expect disruptions in the supply of oil derivatives in the coming period.

“All options are being considered and world events are being monitored hour by hour,” claims Minić.

The Government of the Republika Srpska confirmed that the transporters have scheduled a meeting with all those responsible for resolving their problem on Wednesday in Gradiška. Representatives of Croatia will also be invited to this meeting, along with all those responsible from BiH.
