The Minister of Health of the Sarajevo Canton, Rusmir Mesihovic, resigned, it was confirmed for BHRT.

This information was confirmed by the Prime Minister of Canton Sarajevo Mario Nenadic, and according to him, Fahrudin Radoncic and Zeljko Komsic, presidents of SBB and DF parties, two of the three parties participating in the government, have already been informed about this.

According to the media, Mesihovic resigned due to health reasons. He has been suffering from chronic heart disease, and underwent surgery a few days ago, but it was a minor procedure that was not related to the underlying disease.

On March 3, Mesihovic was appointed to this position as a staff member of the DF, together with the rest of the CS Government of Prime Minister Mario Nenadic (SBB).
