Canadian Molly Carlson is the winner of the jumps from the Old Bridge in Mostar in the final competition of Red Bull Cliff Diving for women, which has been held in Mostar for the eighth season.
Among the competition of 12 female jumpers, Carlson absolutely excelled this year with spectacular jumps in the Neretva from the 21-meter-high platform on the Old Bridge.
Second place went to last year’s winner, Australian Rhiannan Iffland, while American Eleanor Smart fought for third place.
The competition in the largest city on the Neretva began on Thursday with the first series of jumps from the stone arch on Stari most and continued yesterday with the second series from the platforms that were set for men at 27 meters and for women at 21 meters.
Each jump left the audience breathless, blood running cold in their veins, and the table with the positions of the best was constantly changing until it gave birth to the winner of the competition in Mostar.
Red Bull Cliff Diving continues with the men’s competition where there is also complete uncertainty.
The spectacle in Mostar is watched live from the plateau under the Old Bridge by thousands of people who enjoy the breakneck jumps of the world’s best jumpers, Klix.ba reports.
