moneyvalA meeting of the Operational Group for Financial Performance (FATF) was held yesterday in Paris and was attended by the representatives from the Council of Ministers, led by the Deputy Minister of Justice Nezir Pivić.

The satisfaction was expressed and the progress was acknowledged after the adoption of the Draft Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the readiness of the State of B&H to fight against all forms of organized crime was praised.

It was pointed out that there is now no reason for Bosnia and Herzegovina to go to the blacklist, and it was concluded that the authorized institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue to strengthen the institutional capacities in cooperation with the international financial institutions.

Following the achieved positive results, MONEYVAL representatives stressed the imminent possibility of removing B&H from the so-called gray list because, due to the fulfilling of the necessary conditions, BiH will no longer be designated as a non-cooperative country.

John Ringguth attended the meeting on behalf of MONEYVAL, it was stated from the Council of Ministers of B&H.
