The public celebration of the New Year in Sarajevo with the performance of the group from Bosnia and Herzegovina ”Dubioza kolektiv” in front of the Eternal Flame started two nights ago at 11 pm, and the spectacular concert continued even after midnight.

Citizens and numerous tourists who decided to visit the capital of BiH for the New Year had the opportunity to enjoy a musical program that ushered them into the new year 2023 from 8:30 p.m.

As confirmed by the Operations Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Canton Sarajevo (CS), the concert was attended by more than 25.000 people.

The performance of ”Dubioza kolektiv” began at 11 p.m. with the performance of several tracks, after which the Sarajevo group ”Helem nejse” joined them on stage, and then the countdown and entry into the new year 2023 followed.

The Mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karic, also arrived on the scene in front of the Eternal Flame and wished the people of Sarajevo a successful 2023, and the program ended 45 minutes after midnight.

Fireworks were also organized, which colored the sky above Sarajevo, which was traditionally organized by the City of Sarajevo.

This was also the last time that the City of Sarajevo organizes fireworks because the city authorities announced that starting next year, the pyrotechnic spectacle in the sky will be replaced by light visual effects and confetti, Klix.ba reports.
