More than 900 Runners from Nine Countries registered for the Tesanj 5K

This year’s second Tešanj City 5K race pleasantly surprised the organizers with the turnout. Unlike last year, when 600 competitors participated, more than 900 runners from nine countries and 60 cities have already registered for this year’s race, which will be held on April 11.

Rarely has an event recently aroused such interest among all generations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond as the city 5K race, which was held for the first time last year. The organizers have prepared a rich accompanying program for the participants and numerous visitors, to make the event even more attractive for the audience.

The municipality of Tešanj supported the race with budget funds of 800,000 marks, intended for projects of non-governmental organizations and sports clubs.

The race will be held on a five-kilometer-long course through the city. Valuable prizes are provided for the most successful participants, and it is expected that this year’s edition will confirm the popularity and tradition of this sporting event.
