konjicThe stone bridge in Konjic is a reason for the visit of tourists from various parts of the world. Turkish people who are organizing the arrivals can often be seen at the restored bridge. Many take photographs near this symbol of the city, which was restored thanks to Turkey and with the financial support of the Turkish Development Agency TIKA.

These days the visit of one group from Konja, a municipality that established cooperation with Konjic, was marked.

Near the bridge is the Heritage Museum, which is worth seeing.

“We are pleased with the visits, and tourists from all over the world come here’’, said curator of the museum Muhamed Krnjić.

The Heritage Museum was opened in March 2011, and the variety and multitude of exhibits make it the perfect place for exploring the history and natural heritage of the Konjic municipality.

Near the bridge are shops, where tourists could buy various souvenirs.

The shop “Graver’ is interesting because its products are the work of a skilled married couple Buturović, Mensur and Hafa.

“Everything that we are doing, we try to have the soul of the city expressed in it. Tourists rarely buy things, but we hope that it would be better’’, said Mensur, who makes various engravings of the bridge and other things.
