On the wings of successful agreements for the establishment of new airline routes with the largest city in Herzegovina, Mostar Airport continues negotiations for connections with new destinations, and as Klix.ba learns, Mostar could soon be connected to Beirut.
The director of Mostar Airport, Marko Đuzel, tells us that an air line between Mostar and Beirut is possible this summer and that negotiations are in the final phase for the establishment of charter flights.
“Due to the uncertain situation in the Middle East, we will certainly not have a final confirmation for this airline in ten days, and according to the plans, the flights should be between Mostar and Beirut during July, August and September,” Đuzel told Klix.ba.
Beirut is one of the most modern cities in the Middle East and is the main and largest city of Lebanon, which, despite the war conflicts of neighboring countries, is one of the safer zones of the Arab region.
A few years ago, because of its cultural diversity, it became one of the most popular tourist destinations, and because of its turbulent past in the constant process of revitalization, which played an important role in preserving its cultural heritage, Beirut was called the Paris of the Middle East.
