laboratory for honey testing

Yesterday, a member of the B&H Presidency, Dragan Covic, together with the Dean of the Faculty of Food Technology at the University in Mostar, Danijla Petrovic, opened the first laboratory in B&H for testing honey and its pollen properties.

It is about the project that was completed by the University in Mostar, i.e. Faculty for Agriculture and Food Technology in cooperation with the Association of beekeepers Herzegovina.

Beekeepers from B&H will now be able to carry their honey for pollen analysis to Mostar instead of Zagreb or Beograd emphasized the Dean, Danijela Petrovic in her speech during the opening of the laboratory.

“It is important to emphasize that this laboratory is not provided exclusively for honey from Herzegovina. Honey analysis from the entire area of B&H and wider will be done in it. Since it is about the continuation of the story of the origin of Herzegovina honey, beekeepers from Herzegovina will have a discount while paying laboratory services, compared to beekeepers from other regions. I would like to thank one more time all those who assisted in this project in any way”, said Petrovic.

Croatian member of the B&H Presidency, Dragan Covic, called this project an example of how we should build our infrastructure in order for the government to function in a different manner.
