A member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, spoke with the president of the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide, Murat Tahirović, the president of the Association “Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves”, Munira Subašić, the president of the Assembly of the “Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves” Kada Hotić and project coordinator of the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide Emina Sinanović.

The representatives of the association thanked Denis Bećirović for his support to the associations in the fight to spread the truth about Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bećirović and representatives of the association condemned the scandalous statement of a convicted war criminal Dario Kordić.

It was pointed out that the message of the war criminal Dario Kordić violated the decision of the President of the ICTY on early release from May 24, 2014, and that Dario Kordić showed with his statement that he deceived the ICTY authorities, which had released him before serving his full sentence of 25 years.

At the same time, the representatives of the association informed Bećirović about the recent visit to the headquarters of the United Nations in New York and the conversation with the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

The president of the “Mother of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves” Munira Subašić, said that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will visit Srebrenica this year.

She stated that during the meeting with the Secretary-General of the UN, they discussed, among other things, the proposal of Denis Bećirović, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who had previously asked the UN that the archive of the Hague Tribunal be transferred to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
