Mountaineers From Vogošća Are Working Hard to Build a New Home

MotkaMembers of Mountaineering Association “Planinar” from Vogošća took advantage of the nice weather and continued activities on the completion of a mountain lodge at the area Motka. Municipality Vogošća supported the start of the second phase of construction with 30.000 BAM.

The second phase resulted in the installation of joinery, external decoration and construction of accessible roads of two kilometers.

Chairman of Managing Board of Mountaineering Association Uzeir Merdžanović said for Agency Fena that in the upcoming activities they will perform installations of electricity and water connection. He hopes that the house will have a capacity of 35 beds and that they would be put into operation by the end of the year.

The house belongs to Mountaineering Association “Planinar” from Vogošća and they starting building a new house, after the remains of the old one on Skakavac were taken from Canton Sarajevo for 70.000 BAM.

The new house is located in the area of Motka and is 220 square meters. The house has a huge hall, terrace and within the house paths and locations for recreation are being prepared.
