American production company 81 Entertainment is developing a new documentary that will chronicle the rise of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s national football team to the 2026 World Cup.
The film, focused on the Bosnian diaspora returning to represent their homeland on the world stage, will tell a powerful story of national identity, resilience and belonging set against the backdrop of football’s most visible global stage.
“We are telling the story of a generation that inherited the memory of war and has now turned it into a symbol of unity and global recognition,” says executive producer Robert King of 81 Entertainment.
While 81 Entertainment is identifying financial partners, the project represents an opportunity to invest in the culture, memory and future narrative of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Coming from traditional sports storytelling, the documentary will explore the emotional and cultural weight carried by the post-war generation and celebrate their unique stories of personal and national triumphs.
Additional details about production partners, creative team, and streaming distribution will be announced as the project progresses.
“81 Entertainment is dedicated to producing electrifying projects for stage and screen, driven by a passion for preserving legacy and nurturing global brands. Our parent company, Red Giant Rights Group, is a multimedia consortium with expertise in artist-focused intellectual property management and strategic exploitation of creative assets. A limited number of financial partnerships are still available,” the production house concluded.
