MRS Members saved a missing French Citizen in Prenj Mountain

Members of the Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) “Prenj” from Konjic found French citizens who called earlier that day and reported that he was frozen and did not know where he was.

At around 4:00 p.m., a report was received from the mountains, a French citizen, that he was on the Prenj mountain, in an unknown location, that he had frostbitten limbs and was asking for help, the GSS “Prenj” Konjic stated.

Based on the information that existed, their members came out on the field with their medical team.

“Going towards the location where the French citizen is supposed to be, we encountered difficulties, a landslide, a landslide, ravines and snow, which we had to cross. After the search, a lost male person was found, who was found to have come to Prenj from the direction of Jablanica , intending to go down to Konjic, but she got lost in the Bjelašnica area of Konjic and managed to call for help,” said GSS “Prenj”.

According to the statement of the French citizen, he is moving from Gibraltar towards Istanbul through the mountain ranges.

“The medical team of GSS ‘Prenj’ helped the mountaineer, where he was diagnosed with frostbite on his extremities and an emergency transport evacuation was started towards the hospital in Konjic”, they confirmed on their social networks.

Ten members of the GSS “Prenj” Konjic and their medical team participated in the action, the action ended at 8 p.m.
