MTM 1974 and Team CDO Were in Austria and Croatia

mtm 1974Yesterday the Mostar Youth Theatre 1974 and the expert team of the Center for Drama Education were on a eight day visit to Austria and Croatia, and are now back in Mostar.

In Vienna, the delegation of the project “Možeš ti to!“ attended the closing ceremony of the awards for the social integration of the ERSTE Foundation. This project was a finalist and listed among the 133 best-realized projects in Central and Southeastern Europe between the 1998 that were competing.

In parallel, the same project was presented at the discussion forum of the Festival Forum Theatre in Pula, which was organized by the Istria National Theatre. After a presentation of the project, the documentary film by Amra Prutina was shown “Ako hoćeš možeš“ that was made during the realization of the project.

Immediately afterwards in Bijeljina a theatre workshop for the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights as part of the Youth School for Human Rights was realized in education on the topic “Peace and Tolerance”. The visit to the Association for providing assistance in education of Roma “Otaharin“ resulted in an agreement for several versions of their forum for performances during July.

Tomorrow, there is an ensemble for the play “Rekvijem za ljubav“ (Requiem for love) of the Banja Luka Student Theatre and eMTeem, and 1974 will perform as part of the Program Festival “Fedra” in Bugojno, and on 6 July the same play will take place in Banja Luka, announced MTM 1974.
