Municipality Ilidža Announced Project to Build Modern Neighborhood Worth 2 Billion BAM

opcina-ilidzaMayor of municipality Ilidža announced a project called Nova Ilidža, which would be a modern new neighborhood in this municipality.

‘’This will be a modern neighborhood with 40.000 inhabitants, which will extend to the right side of the river Željeznica from the Thermal Riviera to the entity line in Vojkovići. The value of the project is 2 billion BAM, and several investors are interested in this project. The land will be able to be sold for 40 million BAM, and with this municipality Ilidža could finally buy the entire water protection zone, legalize illegally constructed buildings and finally solve long-standing problems’’, said Mayor Memić.

The preliminary design has already been done, and the municipal council gave approval to proceed with further activities. Investors will be offered several areas with complete infrastructure and the necessary permits.
