The official handover to the town of Konjic was held in the presence of the German Ambassador to B&H Christian Hellbach and the delegation of the German Ministry of foreign affairs led by Mrs Anke Reiffenstuel. Germany has supported the projects of demining in Konjic with around 330 000 BAM this year. After the tender being released via the International Trust Fund, the company POINT took over the works.

Germany has been supporting the humanitarian demining in B&H with around 54 million BAM since 1997. The handover in Konjic is a big step on a long way to eliminate the mines in the country. Germany will continue to support this process.
