Municipality NG Helping Families novigradsarajevo.baPresentation of decisions for the allocation of one-time financial assistance for 13 more families which got the third and more children or twins in this year was held yesterday in the Municipality Novi Grad.

The decisions were presented by the Chairman of the Municipal Council of Novi Grad Sarajevo Edina Gabela and Elvir Resic, Assistant to the Municipal Mayor for Education, Culture and Sport.

Pleasant socializing with the youngest fellow citizens of the Municipality Novi Grad and their parents was held, and the attendees were welcomed by the Chairman Gabela who expressed satisfaction with the implementation of this project and the number of newborn children this year in the Municipality Novi Grad.

“This is a reward for the families who have decided for another child in the family. I am a mother myself and I know very well what it means to raise more children. Until now we have presented 75 decisions, and another 30 are being prepared. Our project, for which we have allocated 60.000 BAM in this year’s budget, has proven to be very efficient, and the parents are satisfied because their local community thinks about the youth. Novi Grad is the most populous Municipality in B&H, and the number of born babies is increasing as well. We are especially happy because we have enrolled 1.206 first graders in 14 primary schools this year”, Gabela said.
