Municipality Tuzla and Mayor Imamović Received Prestigious Tourist Awards

panonsko jezeroThe Executive Directory of the manifestation INTERSTAS-International Tourism Festival, in cooperation with the European Federation of Tourism Journalists (F.E.S.T.) with headquarters in Rome, awarded the prestigious international tourist awards: Golden Interstas 2013 to municipality Tuzla, the Charter award of the European Federation of Tourism Journalists (F.E.S.T.) to mayor of municipality Tuzla Jasmin Imamović.

It is the opinion of the nomination that the city of Tuzla is nominated for the international tourism award ‘Golden Interstas 2013’, ‘’for outstanding contribution to the development of tourism of the city of Tuzla, and thus a significant contribution to development of tourism in B&H as a whole’’. The opinion also states that ‘’the proposal of the commission of tourism journalists is based on a very significant investment in the development of tourism in the city of Tuzla, and for the especially great project ‘salt lakes’, a unique European phenomenon’’.

The international tourism award ‘Golden Interstas’, a sort of tourism Oscar award, has been giving out these awards for several years already, and this year the award of F.I.J.E.T./World Federation of Tourism Journalists. The award ceremony will take place tonight in Solin, Croatia.
