Drawing inspiration from the landscapes of Bosnia, the Muranović family, with its brand “Diaaz”, has carved a niche for itself in the in woodworking. Carved in the legacy of Dijaz Muranović, the brand’s foundation lies in merging artistry with functionality. Today, under the leadership of his soon Edin and grandsons Denis and Ali, Diaaz has transformed into a recognized brand for full-wood tables. With assistance of USAID and mentorship of Leyla Mattison, one of the recognized international brand expert, team of Diaaz seeks to expand its presence in domestic and international markets.
Visiting their atelier in Vogošća is akin to stepping into a craftsman’s dream. Rows of finely crafted tables stand testament to the family’s dedication. “We source the finest wood, ensuring each piece we craft, whether it’s a dining table or a coffee table, exudes elegance and durability,” explains Denis.
Diaaz’s signature tables, which have garnered significant attention, are not just functional pieces but also conversation starters. With the fusion of solid wood and epoxy, they create mesmerizing river tables that mimic nature’s beauty. Each piece tells a tale of Bosnian heritage interwoven with modern design sensibilities.
In the last couple of years, the brand’s reputation has transcended Bosnia’s borders. “Our creations are now seen in homes and establishments across Europe. It’s not just about exporting furniture; it’s about sharing a piece of Bosnian soul, craftsmanship, and our family’s legacy,” Denis shares with pride.
From offering customizable options to ensuring each product meets rigorous quality standards, the brand ensures that every buyer feels a personal connection to their purchased items. “For us, every piece of furniture is an ambassador of our values, quality, and Bosnian craftsmanship. We want our customers, whether in Bosnia or Germany, to feel that essence,” says Denis.
With the right guidance and market insights, brands like Diaaz are set to make waves in the international furniture landscape.
