Musicians played and sang in 48 Countries

musicians sarajevoFoundation Playing for Change, each year at the same date, 19th September, is organizing an event that gathers musicians throughout the world, in order to, by playing and dancing, collect funds for children, their education and express a desire for a better future of children.

Yesterday, musicians sang and played in 48 countries at the same time, and their motive was to point out the bad phenomena in the society and to contribute the changes to the better future.

Playing for Change is the project launched in 2002, and five years later the Foundation was established as well. It is about an American organization that is operating at the global level, and annually it is educating more than 1.000 students. Since it is the first time for this event to be held in Sarajevo, all money will be directed to children in B&H.

Thanks to the citizens, we are collecting money that goes to this Foundation. Part of the funds we will direct to the Orphanage Bjelave, with whom we already did certain workshops within the Playing for Change project, and part of the funds will go to the Choir “Chorus Cadenza KUD Bulbul“ in order to enable girls from the choir to go to Bulgaria where they should present B&H at the music competition.
