Muslims to celebrate Eid on Friday, Eid Prayer at 5: 57 a.m.

bajramThe first day of Eid is on Friday, the 17th of July 2015.

According to the Riyaset’s Directorate for Religious Affairs, Eid Al-Fitr prayers will be prayed at 5: 57 a.m., and the central Eid ceremony will take place in the Gazi Husrev-Bey’s Mosque in Sarajevo.

Sabah prayer will be at 4:45 a.m., and the Eid program will start at 5:10 a.m.

Reis-ul-ulema Husein ef. Kavazović will lead the Eid prayer and give the lecture.

“On this occasion, the Directorate for Religious Affairs congratulated the upcoming Eid days to all the faithful, wishing them to spend these days in peace and blessings within their family, friends and neighbors,” as stated from the Riyaset.

Traditional congratulation will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the salon in the Office of Reis-ul-Ulema, and a festive reception will be held at the Faculty of Islamic Studies in the evening hours.

The second day of Eid, the Day of the Martyrs, will be marked with a visit to the martyr cemetery Kovači, and the hatma prayer for martyrs will be recited in Bey’s Mosque tomorrow, at 11.30 a.m.
