Our best skier Elvedina Muzaferija continues to push the boundaries – she achieved a career-best result at the Swiss winter center of Crans-Montana, taking a fantastic fourth place in the downhill race. She was only 11 hundredths away from being on the podium. After the Italian winner Marta Bassino, Muzaferija was one second and 22 hundredths behind.
With this result, the young woman from Visoko continued to collect points in the World Cup after yesterday’s 18th place, and thanks to her recent excellent results, Muzaferija started today for the first time in her career among the top 30 female skiers.
Tomorrow in Switzerland, a super-giant slalom race is scheduled, and Muzaferia won on the same track seven days ago, in the European Cup race.
