The best skier from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elvedina Muzaferija, took 16th place in the Super-G race at the Winter Olympic Games in Cortina d’Ampezzo.

The gold medal was won by the Italian Federica Brignone with a time of 1:23.41, the second place went to the Frenchwoman Romane Miradola (1:23.82), while the third was the Austrian Cornelia Hutter with a time of 1:23.93.

Muzaferija achieved a passing time of 1:25.85, which earned her 16th position in the final standings.

How demanding the race was is confirmed by the fact that even 17 contestants did not manage to finish the performance.

With this result, Muzaferija achieved the best ranking in her career, as well as the best Olympic result of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Super-G discipline. The best ranking so far was 25th place, which Muzaferija achieved at the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing in 2022.
