NARS will not discuss declaring Croatian President persona non grata

After a long break, a new session of the NSRS was convened. There will be no discussion about Zoran Milanović and the awarding of Croatian National Defense (HVO) members, but a new regional issue will be opened before the MPs – Kosovo. Thus, instead of the resolution proposed by the opposition members, another one will come, but according to the proposal of the president of the NSRS, Nenad Stevandić.

“I was of the opinion that at this crucial moment, the RS cannot remain indeterminate due to the preparations for terror against our people and the beginning of endangering their right to life and property,” said Stevandić.

“It will be very interesting to me what the great Serb and patriot Nenad Stevandić proposed to do to them in Kosovo, apart from asking Kurti to withdraw from Zvečani”, commented Nebojša Vukanović, MP of the List for Justice and Order in the NSRS.

For that first opposition motion for a resolution declaring the Croatian president an undesirable person, there were not enough hands to pass the College.

“None of them will give themselves the right to suggest removing the resolution that refers to Zoran Milanović. That’s the point of the whole story. That’s why we wasted a lot of time voting on each point in order to remove certain points proposed by Crnadak and Vukanović”, explained Vukota Govedarica, president of the SDS Deputies Club in NSRS.

In the NSRS today, the question arose as to why the American bombers will fly over the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina and whether this approval was given, among others, by the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željka Cvijanović.

“When RS was bombed, you know what we Serbs wrote on the roofs of those bombers who dropped bombs. We were not afraid then, we are not afraid now. This is no longer a world governed by a monopolar power, in which the entire nation can be scared and targeted,” said Stevandić.

“Every military unit that enters the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and fighter planes certainly are, must and cannot enter otherwise than with the consent of the Presidency. I cannot know whether it was brought by the Presidency with Željka Cvijanović or whether it was brought before, but the decision of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina had to exist”, said Igor Crnadak, president of the Club of PDP deputies in the NSRS.

Today’s meeting of the Collegium of the NSRS was held in a very tense atmosphere. According to Nebojša Vukanović, the President of the Assembly Nenad Stevandić threatened him that he would be expelled from the session with the help of security.

The President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, stated that every overflight of foreign planes, especially American ones, over the RS is a classic example of provocation, intimidation and pressure.

“The announcement of the overflight of American bombers for the RS and its citizens represents nothing but intimidation and brutal repression, but also proof that America today, as the leading bearer of amoralism in world politics, calls intimidation and aggression a partnership,” said Dodik on Twitter, among other things.

The member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, condemned the statements of the President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, about the overflight of American bombers in the airspace of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the press release, Bećirović characterized these statements as tendentious and malicious. Bećirović emphasized that the United States of America is a proven friend of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which continuously provides support for the stability, security and economic progress of our country.

Željka Cvijanović, the chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, also spoke, saying that the Presidency did not make any decision on the overflight of American bombers over Bosnia and Herzegovina, nor was it informed about it. She condemned the move of the American Embassy, which she called unnecessary and provocative.
