National Assembly of RS: Pensions in RS from the Budget as of next Year

Pensions radiosarajevo.baDelegates in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted yesterday under urgent procedure a rebalance of the budget of that B&H entity for 2015, which defined the budget framework of 2.08 billion BAM, which is by 2.5 percent more than the previous budget.

A Draft Budget of RS for next year was also adopted, which defined the total budget means amounting to 2.207 billion BAM. Budget surplus amounting to 44.4 million BAM was planned, which will be directed towards covering debts to domestic and foreign creditors, and the planned tax revenues amount to 1.493 billion BAM.

National Assembly of RS also adopted a set of laws thanks to which the pensions in RS will be paid from the Treasury of RS, not from the Fund of the Pension and Disability Insurance (PIO) as until know, as of January 1 next year.

The Law on Amendments to the Law on Budget Execution of RS for 2015 was also adopted on an expedited basis, according to which the Fund of PIO gets the status of the user of funds from the republic budget, as well as the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance of RS, according to which the Fund of PIO switches to the treasury mode of operation.

The delegates also adopted the Law on Amendments to the Law on Treasury, which stipulates the mode of switching the Fund of PIO to the treasury mode of pension payment, and the Law on Amendments to the Law on Contributions.
