Neira Kurtovic, student of Turkish-Bosnian Sarajevo College, was admitted to the prestigious British University of Oxford in the UK.
This brilliant young student and awarded mathematician received a letter from the University of Oxford in which they informed her that she is admitted to one of the most prestigious universities in the world, in which young people from 142 countries are studying.
Kurtovic represented her country three times at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), the most prestigious competition in mathematics for high school students in the world.
Neira Kurtovic participated at numerous competitions and she won numerous prizes. Some of them are: First prize at EMC (European Mathematical Cup), first place at the Cantonal Competition in Mathematics, first place at the Federal Competition in Mathematics (federal champion for four years in a row), silver medal at the state competition, a bronze medal at the MMC – (The Mediterranean Mathematics Competition), Honorable mention IMO – (International Mathematical Olympiad), silver medal at IGO (Iranian Geometry Olympiad).
