Net Profit of the Central Bank of BiH 217.14 Million BAM

The net profit of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first half of the year amounted to 217.14 million BAM, which is more by 109.38 million BAM or 101.5 percent compared to the same period last year, it was stated in the unaudited financial report of the Bank.

The bank’s net interest income in the first six months amounted to 224.92 million BAM and is 99.1 percent higher than the same period last year, when it amounted to 112.95 million BAM.

Net income from fees and commissions in this comparative period increased by 4.1 percent, to 10.73 million BAM, from 10.31 million BAM, and operating income also increased by 91 percent, to 237.09 million BAM from 124 , 12 million BAM.

The total assets of the Central Bank at the end of the half-year amounted to 16.65 billion BAM and are higher by 1.6 percent or 266.94 million BAM compared to the end of last year, while the total capital at the end of the first six months was 1.134 billion BAM and higher is by 24.5 percent or 223.1 million BAM compared to the end of 2023.

Compared to the first half of last year, the total capital of the Central Bank increased by 431.16 million BAM or 61.3 percent.
