Bosanka Doboj ekapija.baThe Benkons group from Azerbaijan is largely building a factory for fruit processing at the site of the former military warehouses in Ševarlije near Doboj, which will carry the long forgotten name of the famous Bosanka of Doboj.

“We plan to directly employ around 250 workers“, said the technical director of the fruit processing factory Bosanka Doboj Jaho Brzak.

The number of employees will increase up to 400 during the season, and there will be around 5.000 cooperants.

According to Brzak, this is a project worth over 20 million Euros so far, which will ultimately reach the amount of 30 million Euros.

The construction of the factory began in July last year and, as announced earlier, the beginning of the production is expected by the end of 2015.

A large number of former workers in Doboj and the surrounding area expects to find a job in this factory.
